课程信息：

上课老师：王老师， 计算机博士，曾担任过大学计算机老师， 具有多年加拿大编程及教学计算机课程教学经验。英文授课。

上课时间：每周一 晚上 5:30pm - 6:45pm。总共8节课。

将于2021年10月4日 开始， 11月29日结束， 10月5日假期，停课一次。每次课 $20/次， 老学员有15% off.

Python语言介绍：

Python is developed by Guido van Rossum. Guido van Rossum started implementing Python in 1989. Python is a very simple programming language so even if you are new to programming, you can learn python without facing any issues.

Python is a general purpose programming language. Hence, you can use the programming language for developing both desktop and web applications. Also, you can use Python for developing complex scientific and numeric applications. Python is designed with features to facilitate data analysis and visualization.

Python语言是近年来发展最快的一门编程语言。它的语法比较接近英语语法。因此它非常适合初学者掌握。

Python语言在人工智能，Web设计开发，图像处理等方面有着非常广泛的应用。2019年Python在知名编程网站GitHub中的编程语言排行榜上超过Java 排名第二。很多美国大学（MIT, CMU, UC Berkeley 等）都将Python作为科的编程教学语言。当前流行的人工智能软件包 （Keras, TensorFlow都用Python作为开发的语言。未来对Python程序员的需求会非常大。选择一正确的语言学习，可以让你更有竞争力。

招生对象：

该课程主要针对六年级到九年级对计算机编程感兴趣的同学。参加学习的同学不需要有以前的编程经验。但需要会基本的计算机操作。例如使用计算机安装软件，用浏览器搜索相关信息，发送和接收电子邮件，使用常用的文本程序中打字等。

学习内容：

我们的Python课程从培养学生对编程设计的兴趣出发，重点提高学生逻辑思维能力和解决问题的能力。

Python 基础学习教学计划：

第一周：What is Coding? Meet Python - start to learn Python 

第二周：What is variable ? How to use variable to save data? Data type in Python

第三周：How to use Python Turtle to draw shape, and Art colour.

第四周：Python - if statement, logic operators.

第五周：Python - For loop Statement. 

第六周：Python -while loop and random module.

第七周：How to design your project - using turtle to draw your own picture.

第八周：Class practice and student presentation.

以上计划会根据课程实际情况进行调整。
