Introduction to Speech L2- Grade 6-8

Abraham is very active in the Toastmasters community:

• Coached several pairs of interviewers and interviewees (authors) to be ready for the Authors Showcase event.  

• To be invited to be an interviewer (and to prepare) his interviewee for a Professional Women’s event.  

• For the online conference, he gave a presentation (using a PowerPoint slide deck) to honour leaders who developed their leadership skills.  

• The training that he delivers to Toastmasters leaders has also shifted online.

• .Was a guest speaker at the Youth Leadership Program to talk about creating a speech, and how to give speech evaluations.  

• For the Toastmasters leaders and for the club at Mount Royal University, he gave presentations about how to create an effective (PowerPoint) presentation.  

• Hosting events, including having emceed the in-person convention, because he can set the speakers up for success to give to the audience, and set the audience up for success to receive from the speakers.
